ABBOTSFORD CONVENT

As part of the recent Flesh after Fifty: Changing images of older women in Art program, we hosted the Preserving Your Future forum with our partners And Also Presents.

Held at Abbotsford Convent on Thursday 18 March, it was a fantastic evening with plenty of opportunity for discussion between the audience and speakers.

The event focussed on legacy planning and unpacking the barriers faced by women artists, and attendees were treated to some informative and wonderful talks by A/Prof Kate MacNeill from the University of Melbourne's School of Culture and Communication, and artists Frances Tapueluelu and Denise Keele-bedford.

Big thanks to the team at Flesh after Fifty for providing us with the platform. We also hope to do more programming in the legacy planning space this year—stay tuned!
