Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

SATURDAY 9 MARCH, 10.30AM–2PM AEDT | RICHMOND LIBRARY

Join us for our International Women’s Day Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon!

As the largest general reference work on the internet, Wikipedia is hugely popular. But under 20% of biographies on Wikipedia are about women. The Women's Art Register works to improve coverage about women artists both online and with our physical archive at Richmond Library. Join us to amplify the voices of Australian women artists and designers.

BYO laptop and drop on by anytime between 10.30am and 2pm. No experience is required, although basic computer skills are recommended. Resources will be on hand to help those new to Wikipedia editing. More information will be sent to attendees before the event.

This event is supported by Wikimedia Australia and Yarra Libraries.
