WEDNESDAY 9 FEBRUARY, 6–8PM AEDT | ACCA, SOUTHBANK

We’ll be joining Melbourne Art Library for the final discussion in their Distribution Series, part of the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art’s (ACCA’s) Who’s Afraid of Public Space? program. The series explores experimental modes of sharing information and the values of the public library.

Alternative Collections is a discussion between Melbourne Art Library, Australian Queer Archives and the Women’s Art Register on the purpose, power and complexities of developing community library and archive collections.

It will take place in ACCA’s Gathering Space: Ngargee Djeembana, a space for art, performance and the exchange of ideas designed by Senior Boonwurrung Elder N’arweet Carolyn Briggs AM and Palawa built environment practitioner Sarah Lynn Rees.
