Chris's
born in Adelaide in 1960, and has been painting since 1976, and has
had numerous exhibitions. Her Ned Kelly series has been used alongside
Sydney Nolan`s for the Kelly theatre production, New Zealand
Festival of Arts. Her last exhibition in Melbourne was a sell out show
with 70% of the paintings selling before or on opening night. Paintings
are represented in private and corporate collections around Australia and
overseas including the Morgan collection and Heysen family collection,
Lady Southey AM collection.
“Myaim
is to trigger interaction with the viewer with either an open interpretation
or painting a narrative series. I am currently studying the human behaviour
of getting together with family and friends and sharing a meal and
a drink. I think it is interesting that every culture on this planet
practise this ritual.”
She
is represented by fine art galleries in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Commissioned by national publisher to paint a series of 10 works to be

from US and St. Pauls Church Glen Osmond. Two awards by the Royal SouthAustralian
Society of Arts.

Artist in residence at "The Cedars"" in Nora Heysen`s studio to celebrate
