Australian Women's Art Register
Resources: Slide Kits/CD and Catalogue /   Opportunities 
 
Since 1988, nine hundred slide resource kits have been produced and distributed to schools, significantly affirming the inclusion of Australian women in the National arts curriculum.

Work is underway to  digitise all our archives on CD - volunteers needed with experience/skills to assist in the latter endevour.

Information Pack
26 Australian Women Sculptors 1860-1960, Artist bios, selected commentaries.

Catalogue:
Lists written and visual material of over 2000 artists, books, exhibition catalogues, research papers, theses, journals and videos held in the collection. The catalogue of contents is constantly reviewed and annually updated to include newly accessioned material. Additional loose sheets listing new items are included with catalogues sold between updates.

A booklet about the history and facilities of the Register has been launched March  2005 "The Women's Art Register.- see "Publications."
Slide kits: contain slides, artist biographies, image commentaries, source material, selected interviews and class activities. There are four slide kits:
 
Families, Flirtations and Four-Footed Friends, is based on the theme of relationships with family, peers, pets .36 slides/20 artists inc. Casey, Jose,  Watson, Leunig, with trams, murals and community projects. Nonagon - images on CD
Nine Contemporary Australian Women Artists features source material for senior students. 36 slides/9 artists inc. Gower, Halpern,Orr, Moffatt, Smart, Stavrianos
The Third Dimension 
Post 1960s Sculpture, Assemblage, Installation. 42 slides/14 artists inc. King, Davies, Kozic, Turpin, Brassil, Oliver, Lucas. 
In the Company of Women - landscape, still life, portraiture- 60 slides/40 artists 1875-1980 inc. Preston, Beckett, Proctor, Cossington-Smith, Hester, Gascoigne, Ely, Davies.
