Welcome
to the Bulletin #33 – finally! Due apologies to all readers for the delay
in its publishing.
Firstly, we would like to thank those who contributed articles, reviews, interviews, etc. to this issue. Thanks also to Liz for having the Bulletin online. For those subscribers who have access to the internet, the Bulletin can be found at: http://yarranet.net.au/womar/newsletter.html, then enter the password that has been forwarded to you. We are currently gathering articles for our next issue, if anyone has anything they would like to contribute, please forward them to the Register. We would like to have some regular columns in the Bulletin associated with emerging artists, regional and community projects. Also if anyone has any exhibitions/workshops happening towards the end of the year, please let us know and we can also include them in our next issue. We are relatively new to the Women’s Art Register and can see that the survival of the register is severely under threat. We are in desperate need for volunteers in archiving material within the register. At present, there are only a handful of us to handle the copious amount of work there is to be done. Anyone with a couple of hours spare per week and would like to help us out, please do not hesitate in contacting the Register, we would be most grateful. We would like to give a warm thankyou to our members and volunteers for their continuous support. It is absolutely vital that we continue receiving your support to maintain the existence of the Register as an invaluable cultural resource. Sarah Letch and Rachel Gorman.
